Superior Auto Body Saskatoon has been in business since 1961, and we have been an SGI ELITE Autobody shop and have been SGI accredited since 1982. There are many reasons we have so many loyal longstanding clients from all over the city, but mostly it is the small, personal touches that we offer to people who have been unfortunate enough to require our services. We offer newer model courtesy cars and vans for our clients..and to help out we will also pick up your vehicle and take it to your SGI appointment for you and deliver the courtesy car to you at home. In our latest blog post, we discuss …In our latest accident prevention tips, we share information about the SGI Report Impaired Drivers Program.
Report Impaired Drivers Program
The program is a partnership led by SGI, the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority and various law enforcement agencies across the province, with support from Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Students Against Drinking and Driving.
RID began as a pilot program in Saskatoon in March 2010, expanded to Regina in September 2010, to Moose Jaw and Prince Albert in March 2011 and to Weyburn and Estevan in September 2011. It expanded province-wide in November 2011.
If you see a driver you think is impaired
- pull over and call 911
- state the location
- report which direction the vehicle is travelling
- describe the vehicle as best you can: colour, make, model and licence plate number
- describe what type of driving behaviour is being exhibited
- provide a description of the driver if you can
One call is all it takes to help increase road safety in your community.
Our team at Superior take pride in their workmanship… as we always say,
“When we get through it’s just like new”.
